HUSK’s Private Dining

Husk Greenville is housed in a building dating back to the early 1900’s that has served many purposes over the years, including a West End department store who’s namesake mural adorns our interior wall.  Additionally, and even larger mural located on the interior wall proclaims: Ballard’s Obelisk Flour “The Staff of Life.”  A company that was purchased by The Pillsbury Company in 1951.  This eye-catching and visibly stunning bright blue mural, respectfully deserves to be the name sake for our intimate private dining room.

The Obelisk room at Husk Greenville is a private dining and events space that provides the opportunity for a customized and exclusive Husk experience. Paying homage to the mural that adorns the interior restaurant wall, the room can seat up to 24 guests. Guests also have the option of renting out the entire second floor of the restaurant, which can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests.

Located in Greenville’s Historic West End, Husk Restaurant reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that begins in the rediscovery of heirloom products and redefines what it means to eat and cook in Upstate South Carolina.

Like the décor that inhabits the historic building, the food is contemporary in style and interpretation.

Effective March 17, 2020: Husk Restaurant is temporarily closed. Nothing is more critical to The Neighborhood Dining Group than the safety and health of our guests, our staff, and the communities in which we serve. Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, we feel that it is our civic duty to do all we can to help confine the spread of the virus. We feel it is impossible to operate our businesses knowing our staff and guests are at risk, even with precautionary measures such as limiting guests and tables and extensive sanitation.

We want to do our part to help put this worldwide crisis behind us, so that we may swiftly resume serving you, our valued guests. We are a compassionate and resilient community, and we will get through this life-threatening pandemic by working together.
